A name and a Blessing

Sunday March 25th 2012, Faith was given a name and a blessing. We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful, special day. Brian gave the most amazing, tender blessing. Faith screamed through the whole blessing, but she has such a quiet cry, not many people could tell, including me until half way through! We had just a few people join us for her special day.

Visiters from Afar

My sweet Grandma Robinson and Grandpa Ted made a trip from Idaho to meet my Grandma's 75th Great Grand Child. It was so nice to see them and they even took us out to lunch! I only get to see them a few times a year and rarely get to talk one on one so it was such a treat!

She has made each one of he grandkids and great grandkids a darling blanket. They're always so soft and snuggly!

She also made Daxton this cute towel with trains on it. He LOVES it. He still gets mad if I try to wash it!

Thank you Grandma and Ted for the great time! It was so nice to see you two!

Two and a Half!

Our little guy is over 2 and 1/2 years old! He is so stinking cute and funny lately! He acts so big and grown up. Some of the cute things he has said/done the past couple weeks are.

One day he was sitting there thinking after he got in trouble. I told him he needs to be a big boy.

His reaction was

"Daxon (how he says his name) big boy, Faiths baby, Mommys girl, and Daddy's OLD!

We often read Dr Seuss' ABC's. He loves to point to the letters and say what they are. In that book it says the word B I G a lot. So on one page, I said what does B-I-G spell? He thought for a minute and replied HUGE!

He also likes to point to letters in the book and ask me what letter's that mommy, I'll tell him the wrong letter and he'll say "no mommy"! Thats an N! The Q's over there!

Or if I say the right letter, He'll say GOOD JOB MOMMY!

He is such a cute big brother, and often says, "needa go check Faith"

We sure love this little guy and are so happy to have him in our family!
