Chichen Itza and Puerto Morelos (post #3)

The town we stayed in was called Puerto Morelos, it is a federal reserve for snorkeling because there is a huge reef. We had to wear life jackets so that we couldn't swim down and touch it. The water was so clear we could see for 30+ feet! We saw a sting rays, eels, lobster, and tons of bright beautiful fish.

The second day we went to the Chichen Itza ruins, it was so amazing to see the history of these amazing people from so long ago.

This is the market place... those columns are in PERFECT rows! It was incredible!

I think this was some sort of church... That wall looking thing in the front is actually stairs! They are so steep!

The observatory... Makes ya wonder what they were observing?

Another market place where they did their trading... Those columns are not too sturdy... Brian could make them move.

I guess we weren't supposed to climb on the buildings.... one of the parks workers got a little upset at us! oops!

When you were young...

Brian and I were talking last night about how gullible we were when we were kids. First we started talking about how literal we took things. For example... When someone said he's in the "mission field" I thought it meant that some one was in a field waiting to go on a mission. Brian said the his dad would always say "how goes the rat race" Brian thought that there was a Rat Racing operation going on... I also thought when some one said they were "tied up at work" that they were actually tied up to their chair! Don't even get me started on the phrase Layed off... It was just a fun conversation and we were laughing our heads off. It's so nice to be married to someone I can Laugh with! I also had a babysitter that would lie to me with things like "if you leave the nintendo on when we go to the store our house will blow up" or "if someone waves at you with only 3 fingers that means they're going to kid nap you..." What a mean babysitter huh! Let me know if we're the only kids that thought like that... Share your stories

We're having a baby!

Guess what everyone! Brian and I are having a baby this summer! My due date is on August 4th. Crazy huh! We're so excited! We've been to one appointment and things look good so far! I'll keep you all updated as time moves on!
